Inactive Real Estate License Renewal in Michigan
If you let your real estate license in Michigan become inactive, you will need to follow the proper steps for renewal.
If it has been less than three years, you will need to complete the outstanding continuing education courses and pay the necessary reinstatement fee of $108 for agents and $163 for brokers.
Those with a real estate license that has been expired for more than three years will have to do one of the following:
- Pass the real estate exam for salesperson or broker, whichever fits with your license
- Take the pre-licensing course again
- Complete all the outstanding CE requirements
